Javanese Kittens for Sale
Javanese is the name given to longhaired cats of oriental type by associations which are members of the FIFe and by some other bodies. The name reflects its closeness to the Balinese of which it is an unpointed equivalent (except for in the CFA). In Britain, where the difficulties of quarantine and other problems made it difficult to import Turkish Angora cats, a similar longhair resulting from an Abyssinian/Siamese breeding programme was the starting point for the creation of an equivalent of the Turkish Angora. However, at a later stage the breeding programme moved towards a more oriental type and is now recognized by the CA of Britain as being a white Javanese. The GCCF retains the name Angora but it remains a more oriental cat than the Turkish Angora and is not descended from the original Turkish line.
